 Post subject: After all these years, a revelation.

I changed the oil on the missus’s car earlier but instead of draining the oil I have invested in a 12v oil suction pump. Basically you suck the old oil out rather than draining it.

So much easier and so much less mess. My only problem is that I didn’t get one earlier!

these have been around around for years for garages and home mechanics. quite a while ago there were reports of em causing damage to engines. forgot what the problem was but i have not seen one used in garages for years and years and use the traditional method of changing engine oil. all i can say is be careful and do your homework.
