Dunno how many other Bunkerites have got it, but I'm really looking forward to the highlights show at 7.30 tonight because Virgo and that smarmy get who presents it will have to talk about Pools for a change!

Also, we're bound to get another televised game when the next batch of fixtures are announced.

You can guarantee they'll brush over us, I bet we could win 15-0 and they'd still give us a 30 second highlight just at the end of the show. Granted, this season Simon Weaver isn't there to get wanked over, so that's a plus!

It's honestly the shittiest football highlight show I've ever witnessed full of mispronunciations (Gyme Toure anyone?), incorrect facts and bias. Even worse, BT hold the rights to highlights, meaning even when they have no desire of making a highlight show (which is often) clubs still can't upload theirs until two or so days after.

But yes, I'd love to see the faces of Adam Virgin and that grey haired c.unt if we went up.

A couple of excellent goals from Pools. The confidence in the players was clear to see and it augurs well for the season if it continues.

Last year in the Non League paper, Virgo admitted that he disliked Hartlepool, one of the reasons being that he hated playing here. Tosser!

He also stated when DC took over that he had "inherited a squad of under achievers"

Our kid got his cue pinched in the Engineers about 25 years ago.
At a time when he was in his prime.
He mentioned it about 3 weeks ago.
Got nothing against thieves getting a good hiding or worse.

Should be able to get one at WH Smith. It’s a good read. This is the link to its website:

had a mate who was actually my best man at my last wedding who actually liked some of the pools players but hated playing at the Vic in the 80,s. the only place where he hated playing due to him saying it was always cold and usually a night match as well. should have reffed at sole bay{near Southwold} where you are actually closer to the sea with no shelter.
