Televised fixtures announced:

Pools at home to Torquay, Halloween night (cue the 'horror show' comments).

I'm really pleased they have announced fixtures up until January, good for them. Unfortunately this year is won't make any difference for travel plans but we can at least work out clashes with other events.

Think 20,000 is wildly optimistic. Don't think we took that many to Cardiff when we had a half decent team.

I was half taking the piss.
17000 at cardiff.
Get to north London in less than half that traveling time nowadays.
So don't underestimate the pull of the great
HUFC.

but wembley is different type of day out than cardiff ever was. that game was really for football fans where wembley could be seen as a family day out, well for them that can afford it anyway. can imagine most poolies have actually seen a game at wembley over the years. my last visit was to see darlo get beat in the play off final before they re developed the place.

I've been to quite a few matches at Wembley . I'd still love to see Pools play there (and even better, win). I'd sacrifice even that for automatic promotion though :)
