Over 25 minutes of match highlights on the OS now. https://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/latest-videos/
Pools don't do dull these days but this game was mental - there's basically a good goalscoring chance for one team or the other every minute.

Pools problems in the second half stemmed from missed chances in the first - they had 10 and should have been 3 or 4 up at the break. It's good to see the game again with action replays - not sure why Pools are sticking with a streaming provider who doesn't do them.

Oates is definitely not offside for his goal - there's a Wealdstone player on the line with him who is the first to put his hand up! Ferguson's cross/shot is going wide and Oates sticks a leg out and somehow turns it into the net - you couldn't call it a backheel! Featherstone is cool as a cucumber in the box for the third goal.

blame the national leagues reluctance to start the season without fans and not pools for this. given the time league clubs had to provide streaming i imagine a better one could have been found. always manage to get games streamed but is far from easy unlike streams from provided at accrington and stockport that i have used on occasions.

Why are we sticking with streaming provider, surely it’s obvious, we will have signed a contract for the season.

Seems a bit unlikely that any club would have signed up to a full season back in October given that nobody had a clue then how long the need to provide a streaming service would last. Remember that just over a month ago under the old Tier system some clubs were allowed to have fans back in. Everything has changed in the past few weeks.

Quite a number of National League clubs are using a service that does provide in play action replays. Pools must be in the top 5 earners in the division from streaming revenue - if they have the option of providing their loyal fans with a better service they ought to be doing it. It wouldn't hurt for the club to clarify what the position is, even if they've got a contract they can't get out of.

Looks like the crossbar was our twelfth man on this occasion.

Pools are not any club though  If it was cheap, a contract will have been signed.

I've just realised, Wealdstone finished the match with 11 players on the pitch. First time Pools have had to beat a full side for a while! The stream was fine for me. If we were at the match live, then action replays are not available either.

It would be interesting to know how many other teams use the same streaming company as Pools and let’s be honest there have been worse than ours.
