I think they met yesterday, so should be an announcement anytime soon.

Voting on Monday for the resolution to promote Barrow, have play-offs for a 2nd promotion spot and Chorley relegated. No promotion from NLN/NLS so that will mean 22 in the NL next season whenever that is.

Really why no promotion from NLN NLS?
I think a lot of clubs are going to go bust at some point without a bail out by PL or someone.

Still seems very confusing as to whether NLN & NLS seasons will be declared null and void or whether 1 promoted from each based on PPG.

Shame to see Chorley go down. Really friendly club and great pulled pork sandwiches and ice cold water.

the only good thing about that is that there would be equal number of teams in our league without the need to have the odd free weekend. the whole thing feels like a complete cock up to me.

Finally, the NL have made a decision:

Following a vote by all member Clubs, and subject to FA Council approval, the Vanarama National League, Vanarama National League North and Vanarama National League South seasons 2019/20 will be concluded with final league tables compiled on an “Unweighted Points Per Game” basis.

The outcome is Barrow AFC are champions of the Vanarama National League, King’s Lynn Town are champions of Vanarama National League North and Wealdstone are champions of Vanarama National League South.

The end of season Play-Offs will now proceed with the Clubs that qualify, subject to the competition rules and the applicable government guidance on the phased return of elite sport.

The number of Clubs to be relegated from the Vanarama National League will be determined so as to maintain a National Division of 24 Clubs after any relegation from EFL League Two, promotion to EFL League Two and promotion from the National League North and National League South divisions. There shall be no relegation from Vanarama National League North and Vanarama National League South.

Chief Executive Officer Michael Tattersall commented: “I congratulate each of our champions Clubs on their successful campaigns. The enforced curtailment of our season does nothing to discredit the quality of the football played and I am pleased that our Clubs have overwhelmingly supported the award of their titles. We can now also look towards the completion of end of season Play-Offs.”

Nice to see Barrow back in the league. A proper old school club.

so does that mean pools play kings lynn and wealdstone next season or not. saw that these two sides were to be elected champions of their respective divisions but nothing about promotion. if these teams are promoted that will give the north and south sections an odd number of teams as south shields have found out, there is no promfrom their league to the NLN.

If Kings Lynn go up as NLN champions it will be will be another long schlep next season - the neck end of a 4 hour drive.

give yourself 4 hours from hartlepool to kings lynn you,ll have a few points on your licence if you do it in that time. only 2 ways to do it, one a long way round via peterborough or a shorter direct route on a shitty 60 mile per hour road with numerous tractors. i,ll give wealdstone a go as her in the kitchen used to watch them years ago and her brother still lives there.

I've actually been to Kings Lynn , saw them play Forest Green in the mid 90s, decent ground I remember with a huge old skool stand down one side. I would be looking at making a weekend of any visit there next season , preferably at beginning or end of the season when weather is better. Would be a nightmare midweek game in November or February , unbelievable that teams such as Blyth and Spenny may have had to do this trip midweek in the past.

ran the line there once. its the only non league ground in norfolk that has a feeling of being a proper ground. even the better ones would love darlo,s present facilities.
