There's nothing new as far as the events of the day are concerned unless you mean the 'exclusive' revelation that Hartlepool have a player called Nicky Henderson who was sent off!

Higgy feeling sorry for himself in yet another interview isn't new. I'm not sorry at all that the ref doesn't feel ready to return to action even now - look forward to news of his retirement, though that by itself won't solve the problem of atrociously poor referees with long records of incompetence being allowed to continue to officiate at National League level.

It does seem odd that the article rakes over this particular incident again when there have been others since, in the Premier League in particular. Nothing can change the reality that it was an extremely bad day for our club and especially its fans.

in the so called bad old days after the end of the season quite a few got kicked off all leagues they refereed in if they did not come up to standard. does not seem to happen as much nowadays. funny how the ones that are crap at the vic are still crap at non pools games i have been too.
