Eifion to Wrexham rumours

Haven't really heard any yet, but I've just remembered something from Tuesday night that might make sense.

I went to collar him for an autograph for our lass, and he was talking to a middle aged gadgie witha dictaphone, presumably a reporter. I had a bit of crack with them both, and the reporter said 'I've seen this bloke being interviewed in English, and give all his replies in Welsh'.

Putting 2 and 2 together, could the reporter have been from a Welsh newspaper, asking Eifion about a move back to Wales?

Or was I just too blaked to recognise it was Sam Lee?

I've seen it mentioned a few times that he is going to Wrexham, I think it's based on the fact that they are a Welsh League 2 team and there aren't any others. Wrexham is nowhere near South Wales where he is originally from so I reckon it's a case of 2 + 2 = 5

Sorry to be pedantic TPP, but he's from Anglesey, which is an island off North West Wales, there endeth the geography lesson.

I did hear a rumour that his missus didn't want to leave the area and if he couldn't find another club he was gonna be a postie.

I was basing it on Barry Town which is where he was scoring 87 goals a season (I think) before Torquay snapped him up which is at the other end of Wales.

Eifion is from Caernarfon which is in North Wales. Wrexham are being linked with all the free transfers at the moment as the club have no money to spend. It's almost certain that Anthony Williams will join and maybe Proctor as believe it or not he has played brilliant in the games that he has played. Not sure of Eifion though probably to old :laugh:

eiffo has gone now, thanks for the memories. a concern of mine now is dimi when we spoke to him at the poty awards he wasnt giving much away whether he was staying confised
