I reckon about a hundred or more. Mr Pin has a list of the grounds I've been on watching Pools. I can't find my copy at the moment but since we've entered the world of non league there are a few to add to it.

I remember going to Gay Meadow Shrewsbury whilst on holiday in those parts. The river was close by and they had a boat to retrieve the balls.I am sure Scott Harrison would have broke the record if he was ever to play there.

Very impressive. Here's mine:

The Victoria Ground
Victoria Park
Feethams
Bootham Crescent
Valley Parade
Millmoor
Bellvue
The Shay
Blundell Park
Haig Avenue
Borough Park
Bloomfield Road
Spotlands
Edgeley Park
Springfield Park
Maine Road
Rossett Park (Marine FC)
Prenton Park
Gresty Road
The Baseball Ground
Portman Road
Griffin Park
St Andrews (Birmingham) whilst on route to AFC Wimbledon to watch Pools the match was posponed leaving only four games left in England including Birmingham v Boro which on a coach show of hands is where we went much to Boro fans' amusement and pleasure and a fucking horrible experience as Boro won 2-1 and there was violence. Saw a black guy wearing NF regalia with orange hair. Very strange experience. Doesen't count but ah well!
Edgar Street
Plainmoor
Home Park

Oh yeah, almost forgot. That tiny jumpers for goal wriggly tin roof stand place in Cardiff. sadx

Hello Poolies.

I know this is early days for this thread but surprised that the mighty Globe Arena ain't listed. We played you there a few times. You never played at our spiritual home, Christie Park, cos you were in the league above when we first came up, before our move. Anyway hope this mess is sorted soon and you could maybe honour us with one of your fancy dress away days LOL. Div 2 North would make a lot of sense right now!

Yes regionalisation must be the way forward now.

mixed thoughts about your globe arena. remember hammering you lads there a few seasons ago then a couple of seasons or so after we surrended to you in the cup. for me its one of the better days out as i,ve never had the inclination, time or money to squander on places like dover or torquay. bring on league div. 2 north.

nether heyford. ran the line for a youth team game when they played northampton town there in the mid to late 90,s. kevin broadhurst who was northamptons youth team manager, who i actually got on well with, said what the f--k have they sent you hear for today. he knew i supported pools. i did not cheat. no wonder i didn,t get on too far in the game.

One benefit could be the increase in match day revenue if it attracts more away fans.

playing teams closer to you might attract more home fans and those who do not go regular. if you can attend only one of the two and your choice is aldershot or chesterfield i know i,ll plump for the latter any day.

The forthcoming recession (as predicted by Sunak) means a big squeeze on the leisure pound so clubs at this level must look to doing things differently and regionalisation must be top of the list. You could do something interesting with promotion play offs but this all depends on the league and national league getting together which may be the problem.

It makes sense. The removal of a lot of travel and hotel costs would have a big impact.

Looking at the league table there are At least 12/13 games that require an overnight stay. That’s roughly 20 people in a hotel for the night plus meals and extended coach hire. That must be over 50k worth of expense.

it will be a good 4 figure cost for those like dagenham who do it on the cheap and use the train. it need not be forever, but in the present climate it makes sense. give it a go and see what fans and clubs make of it.
