Hi

The British Bean and Pea season begins next month and with more people returning to fresh home-grown vegetables as part of their daily diet we have created a selection of recipes using runner, broad and dwarf beans and fresh peas which you might find useful for your food page.

The delicious recipes are all suitable for Summer eating, indoors or alfresco, which all the family, including children will love, and have been created by TV chef, Rachel Green.

The disc also has useful nutrition stats, bean and pea facts and generic photography which you may find useful.

Please return this email to let me know you'd like a disc sent to you.

Kind regards

Gail Dibble
On behalf of British Bean & Pea Growers

Was it the 'generic photography' that caught your eye, Cornelius?

....and the attempt at a joke based on the fact that dried beans and peas are sometimes called pulses went flying higher over the bar than a Tommy Widd penalty.....

Thank you, Mr Albatross, we had in fact picked that up
(Tho I had to think twice before admitting this in case I too was invited to a special place with Cornelius and Kev.
Erm... good luck!)

Sadly I am unable to add any pea or bean-related witty comments to this thread
