New guidelines issued by the National Police Chief's Council as to what you can and can't do only serve to muddy the waters even more and some seem to be in direct contravention of Government regulations. Apparently now you can drive to the countryside for a walk as long as you walk for longer than you drive, does that mean I can drive two hours to the Lake District as long as I walk for four hours? Apparently exercising must "involve some movement"!! You can stop to rest or eat lunch during a long walk but can't sit on a bench during a short walk, oh and apparently a newspaper is now classed as an essential item. They also draw a distinction between repairing and renovating so you can nip down to Wilkos for some screws and a tap washer but not for paint.

But you can crowd onto london bridge with the police blessing to clap for the NHS.

The police are getting more idiotic than the government.

It must be hard to justify these restrictions to the average person when others appear free to do whatever they like.

Was hoping this was clarification of Mr I's new banning rules. Struggling to reply to a couple of people while the swearing lockdown is in place. Need to find some obscenity loopholes.
