I would doubt that. Not just because it would set a low bar on abuse, but also because if people are going to be banned retrospectively for such posts it's going to get very quiet very quickly.

Make it a red card, I am more than happy to leave, as I only post on the politics threads and have no interest in football, and once the lockdown is over I probably wont even read the thing anyway.
I stand by my comment, there are people on this forum whose sole objective is to take the opposite stance adopted by the sensible majority and then argue it to the nth degree, making the same points over and over again, and becoming ridiculously argumentative.
It is noticeable one individual is Mr Reasonable on a morning but on an evening, and presumably in drink, becomes abusive. I have been the victim of that abuse on numerous occasions, but I have noticed as soon as anyone attacks him he goes running to teacher and plays the victim card.
Like I say I stand by my comment, to argue that a politician appearing on a chat show should not have to answer any questions posed is absolutely absurd. To suggest they use said chat show as a political platform without coming under any scrutiny is just rank stupidity, as mu understanding is that they are elected by and answerable to the electorate.
Go ahead press your ban button if it makes you feel good. I wont lose any sleep over it.

I'll set the ball rolling by suggesting "I fucking hate your guts and i hope your mam and dad die in a freak thunderrstorm" is unacceptable.

That is not what I said at all, and I stand by my comment, you are either a stupid individual unable to grasp even very basic arguments, or alternatively you take great delight in arguing with people purely for the sake or arguing. I suspect the latter based on the comments you have made late at night revelling in the fact you have wound several people up and then boasting that you are smarter than them, and look forward to doing the same tomorrow.
You even managed to be abusive to PJ Poolie in response to a comment where he was agreeing with you, turning consensus into argument once again. If a group of people say the answer to something is A, I can absolutely guarantee that you will eventually pop up and say it is B.
As I said, you have directed a lot of personal abuse at me, you have said that people like me should be removed from "your" country, and when a few people appeared to be backing me, you made the absolutely ridiculous assertion that I had created multiple usernames and was actually all of those people.
I will leave you to your own devices. This is going the same way as the Hartlepool Post Forum where a group of people relentlessly attacked the Council for donkeys years, then as soon as they themselves ended up running the council, they started dishing out bans to anyone on the Forum criticising the Council.
Argue away to your hearts content, I will no longer be reading or responding.

Its not bitter but gets annoying when people like you dont debate the point at hand but merely state it would have been worse under corbyn and momentum.

I think that is because you like Labour and are disappointed that they were so hopeless. Me too. I am glad it seems to be changing. I might vote for them down the line.

I get annoyed when people view things with such an irrationally polarised views. Its a kind of extremism. Its human nature I suppose and we have all been guilty of it.

The performance of any government won't be known until later. Some bad things will have happened due to incompetence, some through ill fortune and some because its just a bad time for the world. I was trying to get that across. Sound reasonable?

Finally, even kids know to respect the views of others different to your own, especially if you want to hold civilised conversation with them, let alone get them to see your way of thinking. This would apply for example to someone who has religion or has not or votes Labour or does not. To start throwing names about its uncalled for.
