Once football starts again is there any others who would like this to return. hate this coming out together and that pointless handshake thing.

It was miles better for atmosphere, it used to be quite raucous when the teams came out it’s very subdued now.

Who could forget the home team deliberately waited until last moment (after pre kick about up to an hour or more before) waiting for the visitors to come out first and be jeered, booed, swore at with you awful cads etc before the Pools came out to music and a roar of approval. Gladatorial yes, exciting yes. Without Corona virus all this meaningless handshake nonsense before they kick the shit out of each other. The old days were best.

doubt we will ever see VAR at the vic but plenty of other stuff have filtered down to our level. off side, throw ins being allowed to be taken anywhere teams feel like, no rules wrestling at corners, any sort of tackling penalised unless its spot on, child referees and linesmen, timewasting from the kick off, rehersed goal celebrations plus loads i,ve forgotton about. there,s more reasons every season to give you an excuse not to go to games.

Completely agree with you Accrington and have said as much before. Why don't refs pull them up for stealing yards? It always used to be if the referee missed something his linesmen would flag. They might converse and the ref might overule or agree with him (before women officials no offence intended). Watch any game nowadays and the "assistant refs" who are all qualified refs in their own right just stand on the line and only every get involved if chew occurs near them and they join the ref and officials to break it up. Win something fair and square and not by cheating. Pools included.
