Missing my real ale but trying some of the bottled beers like Wainwright and Timmy Taylors Landlord which are not bad in bottles.
I think the Fishermans do deliveries or collect but it would be a bit of a hike for me and couldnt really justify as an "essential" journey. sadx

Wine supplies are holding up well. €3.50 for a decent bottle of Fronton in our nearest supermarket. Plus hoarding wine is normal and just called laying it down. Not sure you're supposed to pick it up again as quickly as I do but you can't adopt all local cultural habits.

CO-OP Fairtrade Malbec , missing the real ale as well. Reckon it will be manic when and if normal service is resumed, packed pubs, restaurants and people going away for the weekend. Could completely change the psyche of people in the country this virus by the time its finished.

I would recommend these Bluestreak. My daughter bought me a case for Xmas, not usually a fan of bottled beer , but some of these were lovely , just like you would get on handpull.

I got this one

Generally a couple of glasses of red whilst knocking up a mousakka and discussing how breezy the mistral is this year.

Iv'e tried a couple of these mixed packs before and liked half and disliked the other half so its worked out £6-00 a bottle so I don't bother any more.

Lidl do a cracking indian pale ale called Bright lights just been to the fridge and realised none left :angry-tappingfoot: £1-19 abottle and 5.6% If I remember correctly. Looks like another trip to Lidl is required.

Yes Mr Horden i often find mixed cases of beer or wine always have a few i dont like. I might get in touch with a brewery direct to see what their deals are.

Think i have had that Bright Lights Hartleblue and was good.

Some bottled stuff in supermarkets isn't that good as the brewers have to make it as cheaply as possible. However I find the following to usually be reliable:

Fullers London Pride
Everards Tiger
Black Sheep bitter
Timothy Taylors Boltmaker (and Landlord)
Black Sheep Milk Stout
Bath Gem

Also the Belgian wheat beers are always good, particularly in warm weather, Franzishkaner and Erdinger are lush.

All of these were nice, all were bottle conditioned , that was the real ale case 34.99

I think the Brewery let you choose your own if you either ring them or complete a form on their website

Will Sherwin who owns that firm used to be my boss. Do you think it's coincidental that they refer to their depot as 'The Bunker'?

From the 'about me' page.

This was all from our dining table and shed so a few months of tripping over boxes we took the plunge and got our first warehouse. The 'Bunke'r as it was known was a small storage room with no windows but we were very proud. We doubled in size several times over the next couple of years and now we're in our own 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse with lots of room and offices. We still call it the 'Bunker' though.

12-packs of Estrella, and for meals bottles of Lidl Rioja Blanco, a really excellent white at less that 3 euros.
As for Madame Poolier she swears by Cava, and also swears after Cava.
No high falutin' drinks though: the Bodegas are closed.

When in Santander I was introduced to the delights of Don Simon red in a one litre terra pack at €1. Decant into a Waterford crystal and leave for a few hours to breath.
Excellent with steaks.
