A completely unneccessary post mate.

It's only how I feel about the guy and I know I'm not alone.

For the first half dozen games of the season Darren Williams was our best player.

He is gone now, so why slag him off.

because I hated his 'we've got relegated so fuck the lot of you as I am better than this club' attitude and epitomises everything that I hate about modern day football.

What a bitter nasty and not very grown up assumption of a situation you know nothing about, why automatically think greed?. Don't judge people on your morals TPP

Good luck Daz, Top bloke

I agree with your general sentiment.

But Williams never gave less than 100%.

I dont see too much difference between Williams stance, and Dimi's wish to play at a higher level. Its only the way it is said.

Graeme Lee, and Boydy were the same.

There is no loyalty in football.......or very little.

On the flip side.............Ritchie Humphreys love HUFC, yet when he was dumped to Port Vale, most people, incl on here, said they were glad to get shot.

I bet most people think Dimi can leave with our blessings.

Can he fook.

If he goes, he falls into the same pit as Darren Williams.

I understand what you are saying. The difference with Williams and Dimi is that Dimi deserves to play at a higher level and deserves to prove himself against the best players in the country. He was patient in getting the gloves off Provett and if he finds himself a decent Championship then there is probably a good chance he will make an international appearance. He's also always doing work in the community with schools etc which has been recognised at previous POTY nights.

Darren Williams, for me, couldn't be more different. At the first sign of trouble he wanted to jump ship and never earnt one ounce of respect from me.

I was never glad to get shot of Richie as I've always admired him but there is no denying that at the start of the season he wasn't at the top of his game. Thankfully, he went to PV and has come back twice the player

I am only partly going assumptions, mainly from what I've been told from various sources. If I have got it wrong then I will hold my hands up and if there were genuine 'personal reasons' then obviously I would retract my original statement which I'm already partly starting to regret!

Mr TPP,I asked at the AGM if Daz Williams still had a transfer request in and was told it was retracted fairly quickly afterwards and he wanted to settle in and play for us.

 Mr. Tax is only being passionate, its cool and also funny!!

I partly share his opinion, and also fully maintain I'm in a minority of about 3 who've shouted encouragement to Daz from the millhouse terrace instead of abuse...

To be fair...........thats poor PR.

It should have been publicised that it had been retracted. Then maybe the fookwits at the parade wouldnt have booed him.

Agreed. I never booed him, I just never had a very high opinion of him because of what happened 12 months ago. I know others are the same and maybe they'd have thought differently if that had been made more public.

That's why I asked because it was confusing me if he still had a request in and I doubt if I had not asked we still would be non the wiser about it.

Glad you changed the header on this thread. clappp
