I have a suspicion we might creep into the top seven and given my recent Nostradamus like record you might listen. Anyone concur or disagree? If not what needs correcting to make it so?

They would be in there now if it wasn't for their inability to hold on to leads. So there is the answer. Learn to manage games and keep the back door shut.
As usual injuries and suspensions will play a big part.

In the 2 games challinor has lost we have conceded 5 goals surely its up to him to close the game down with subs ?

I know someone who is a dog walker and he lost all the fingers on his left hand, he has the same problem as Pools.

Last season we were an average team and we ended up in the middle of the league so far this season we have had basically the same team and where are we, middle of the league. So unless Challoners signings come off I think we may come up a little short. Here’s hoping.

I wouldn't write us off but we'd have to pull our socks up pronto. And as long as we blow 2-0 leads, it's hard to be that positive. However, this league is so open anything is possible, so I do imagine we will finish higher than we currently are.

We have nothing like the same team in my eyes we have improved in key areas the midfield has better balance and is more suited to this League we have more creativity pace and power, we have an experienced Centre Back and a new keeper. It’s all about cutting out the bad goals and better game management. We have thrown away so many points this season in games we have been by far the better team.

The two Harrogate games over Christmas feel crucial to me they are in sixth place 8 points ahead, we need at least a win and a draw from those two games.

Hope so but just can't see it coming off.
Can't see the same players who blow leads changing for the better.
Maybe revert to 90 mins of non-stop attacking like Liverpool
That old saying attack is the best form of defence.

Got faith in our manager but its an 18 month project for me to finally keep a promotion dream alive after Xmas.

It's frustrating because we're scoring goals and for the most part look definitely capable of getting into the playoffs.

However the bare fact is that if we continue to throw games away then we'll miss out.

We’re not exactly we are slightly better off both points wise and closer to the top seven. Plus we’re better equipped to do better in the second half of the season with a manager who’s done well at this level.

Well if you listen to the manager after the Harrogate game I don’t think he agrees. He is saying the attitude is wrong and he wants to bring in fresh faces.

But surely that puts us in a better position than last year when at this point the Richard Money disaster had just begun?

It will if he brings in some fresh players that’s what I am saying the present team is little better than last season our league position shows that. We know any team can get promoted in this league but all those above us and around us are saying the same thing.

now the honeymoon period of sweeney and challinor is over its back to brittle pools again. can challinor install some steel in players minds as i doubt there will be money available for wholescale january signings. could be his hardest task he has had as a manager. promotion can be achieved but somehow i just cannot see it happening i,m afraid.

No point in having a manager really, they are all dog shite.

Dimi in, no Dimi out, Sweeney back in, Joel Porter for manager, no Darrell Clarke, no Mourinho, although he was shite at Manchester United.

Fold the club.
