Just Watched This....

Watched these 2 Films last night....

'The Hurt Locker'....It was ok but I'm still waiting for something to happen!!!! 5/10!!!! confised

'Law Abiding Citizen'....Mmmmm....so so!!!! confised

Not bad but totally unbelievable....the story was very far fetched but still ok ish'!!!! 5/10!!!! confised

Really funny in places and a real feel good factor film!!!! :coool:

Nah, seriously, this is the film that got me my radio gig here in China. This week we've moved from 107.4 to 101.3 FM. That means nowt to you, I know, but it's the equivalent of going from Radio 4 to Radio 2, and there's a million more listeners. I can't wait for the Dead Kennedy's era!! :grin:

Watched this the other week....

One of the funniest films I've ever seen....and a brilliant Soundtrack aswell....10/10!!!! :coool:

I was suprised at that aswell....especially with Leonard Cohen not been on the soundtrack release either!!!! banghead

The single in question was "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" by Procol Harum, which when re-issued in 1972 was on the "Fly" label, so they were obviously playing the wrong record to the soundtrack. I was born to point out cock-ups like this!

Might the Duffer have a contract with a media corporation have film and music interests? I think they call it synergy but it does look a lot like product placement. I have a horrible feeling that her career is leading to a terrible Dusty Springfield bio-pic.

Just finished watching....

Started off as a comedy....expecting something similar to 'The Boat That Rocked'.... :shock:

....but how fecking powerful was that!!!! :shock:

I'd heard of Joe Meek but didn't know much else....what a Film!!!! 9/10!!!! :coool:

Well....I've me, the bairn and our lass have just been to see 'Avatar'.....STUPENDOUS!!!! :coool:

The only time I've ever been the Pictures and the audience have ranged from 8 to 80!!!! :shock:

Words fail me to describe the Special Effects....and....Mr.MadJohn....we all thought the story was cracking!!!! :grin:

If it doesn't sweep the board at the next Oscars....I'll eat my Bike!!!! :grin:

You HAVE to go to the Pictures to see it....10/10!!!! :coool:

Just finished the first 'series' of prison break, awesome telly, watching about 5 epsidoes a night i just cant turn it off.

5 episodes into series 2 now, still class, edge of your seat, heart pumping stuff, love it.

Dexter is really good TV, I have watched the first 2 series and have series 3 waiting to be watched once I get my laptop fixed. Series 4 started in America a few months back as well

The Dragon and I watch Dexter, I reckon she watches it cos' she fancies the main character, whereas I watch it for the gory bits, oh and the fit birds.

Probably because we used to watch Six Feet Under an' all.

I've just had a look at Showtime, the US TV network, and it has renewed Dexter for a fifth season. It's being filmed now and is set to premiere in the US in September 2010.

Watched Lovely Bones last night.
No, not Victoria Beckham but it's based on the best selling book about a girl who was murdered and helps her killer to be caught from beyond the grave.
Decent film but not a patch on the book!!

'A Clockwork Orange - 2 Disc edition'....I finally got round to getting it on DVD....and I'm just watching all the extras on Disc 2 at the moment!!!! :coool:

'Four Rooms'....I've never seen it so I'm quite looking forward to it....Any good???? :coool:

'The Hangover'....just looks like a decent funny film....will watch it at Tea Time with our lass before the game starts!!!! :coool:

21 is a good film enjoyed that, the hangover is a decent comedy, not a serious film and it wont change your life, but it has its funny moments, decent tea time film.

I watched clockwork orange last year, i just dont get it, maybe it's over my head but i thought it was an awful awful film.

I first watched Clockwork Orange in the late 80's....our kid got me a copy from America....I never got it then and wondered what all the fuss was about....but now I think it's a wonderful Film but compared to Films these days it's very tame!!!! :coool:
