Anyone know of any butchers shops that do a decent one in Hartlepool?

Quite a few say homemade but I smell a factory made banger, too similar in size etc.

Was a wacky bloke opened a specialist sausage shop opposite L&P motors on York road near the burn valley roundabout. Sausages were amazing. It closed about 15 years ago. Ran off owing some money to local investors as I remember.
Can anyone remember its name?

To be fair, if you want a decent sausage it's not Hartlepool butchers you should be looking at, unless perhaps there's a Polish butcher in Hartlepool or one from the Alps.

a lot has to do with your own individual taste. some like em heavily spiced and mixed with other stuff whilst others prefer a plainer variety. funny how i have found the dearer variety not as much to my taste as the cheaper ones and not just supermarket ones either.
