Obviously he’s doing a great job and it’s hard not to like him after watching this interview but it struck me that he actually is Micheal the mad Geordie bloke who worked in the hotel in ‘I’m Alan Partridge.’

He does come in to the hospitality lounge before and after the match. I translate what he’s said for my friends. Cracking guy doing a good job with very limited resources. Mind you, I hope Woking lose tonight.

By the way did you know...the actor who played Michael in Alan Partridge is also the voice behind them bloody meerkats off the insurance adverts.
