I see from the official site that Molyneux and Williams have "minor underlying issues" and will be out for longer than hoped.

Somewhat frustrating and without wishing to be negative worry that Williams may struggle to ever get back to where he needs to be.

:(

Certainly seems odd the amount of injuries and niggles were getting at the moment. Why are we missing so many of these "underlying issues" in the first place?

Bring back Buster etc etc

Update.

Craig Hignett will remain without the services of Luke Molyneux (leg) and Luke Williams (ankle) for Saturday’s game against Chorley at Victory Park.

Kenton Richardson is making good progress in recovering from his ankle injury but this weekend is likely to come too soon and fellow defender Myles Anderson is also nearing a comeback.

Josh Hawkes has made a return to training after shaking off a hamstring problem and could be in contention, while Nicke Kabamba (ankle) was hoping to play some part in Friday’s training session too.

Wasnt Williams injury to his knee not his ankle? sctatchinghead

Or was the "underlying issue" the fact they were looking at the wrong part of his leg?

I am going to phone in sick next week with a ‘minor underlying issue’

Sounds nasty.

I'm still surprised we haven't loaned anyone yet, surely Bale won't get a look in any time soon with Mafuta and Holohan around?

Can't understand why we haven't played the likes of Kennedy at full back during our recent struggles to fill positions, I fear that we'll never get our best side out this season due to one thing or another, its just the way we are, born strugglers, in fact I think we should change our club nickname to "The Strugglers" as it reflects our history. Might even change our luck....not that we've ever had any mind.

Think he's sorted his differences out with Zidane now but good shout though.

What's up with Cunningham? Not mentioned again in the recent injury update? Is he just out of favour?

At least he isn't wasting away in the Chinese Super League, would love to see a PL return.
