And yet Hoolihan on Radio tees said we dominated the game.
As Far as I'm concerned dominating the game isn't or shouldn't be a description of any game in which you conceded three goals and three points in front of your own crowd.
All these daft excuses ( and there are too many to fit on a postage stamp) usually end with "we didn't deserve to go down".
FFS cut out the excuses and fulfil the hype you were all spouting a few weeks ago.

Just listened to hignett about todays game and he says himself he doesnt seem to know what shape to play which is worrying.
Just get a plan what is consistant like 532 and try to stop conceeding goals would be a good start.
Have to agree about killip he needs a long rest asap

Has Hignett said that?

Certainly had a poor start in blue and white so far.

Fair play to SJOE for replying to his uncalled. Abuse in. A dignified manner.
Higgy gunna pay the price for not having the mass clear out of shite in May. Big mistake keeping the likes of Feather n Noble on the payroll.
Totally agree with the fans who want Dimi between the sticks.
I musent grumble to much as I've seen us get promoted 3 times over the last 45 years of being a poolie. But feel sorry for our younger generation of fans cos I dunna were the next promotion is coming from unless its from the vanarama North.

Fuck Off in advance to the small army of vultures who disagree with me.

didn,t go yesterday so i cannot comment of the display but conceding 5 goals in 2 home games cannot be right. something somewhere needs to change quickly. seen killip twice and i never thought i,d miss loach.

Just when you think our defence couldn't get any worse it does, a bunch of 10 year old schoolkids could've breached that pathetic lot yesterday. Does make you wonder what they practise in training. Obviously let's concentrate on your weaknesses doesn't apply.

I had a feeling that this season we would see some high scoring games this year with Higgy in charge with some ups and some downs.
Cant see us going up this year but we need to be entertaining to watch.
Just lets hope it 3-2 to Pools on Saturday.

I have said from early on that Kerr was poor positionally, Raynes can groom Cunningham and talk him through a game which will then help develop him.

In a nutshell. Pools had more of the game and created more chances, but there was nothing fortunate about Bromley's win - they were just better than us in the areas that matter.

Pools generally miss the easy chances. For now they are scoring some great individual goals like Toure's brace on Tuesday and Mafuta's shot yesterday, but how long can that last?

Then you have Bromley, basically 3 goals from 3 chances, each one put away clinically.
First one, forward runs into the space between Kerr and Raynes - pass and goal.
Second one, Kerr is beaten at the near post and a Bromley player reacts quickest when the ball drops in the box - goal.
Third, their player in midfield has all the time in the world to flight a ball over Pools' back four, forward runs in behind again, keeper comes out too late - another ridiculously soft goal conceded.

As things are Pools absolutely must play 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 every game. Kerr and Raynes aren't quick enough, aware enough or playing well enough together to cope on their own.

The crazy thing about the keeper situation is that at the minute Killip is an automatic pick every game with Ryan Catterick out on loan. Getting Dimi in or a keeper in on loan from a club in a higher division is an another no brainer.

Although yesterday was my first game of the season, I couldn't agree more, MDKMF.

Regarding Bromley taking their chances, apart from anything else, we put in three or four superb low crosses from our right, late on in the game which flew across the six yard box without a single blue shirt being anywhere near to apply the finishing touch.

There is obvious discord between the keeper and defence but the midfield don't seem to be covering themselves in glory either.

really big weekend coming up. lets hope for a couple of clean sheets on the trot. rather have two nil nils than a couple of 3 all draws with the opposition coming back.
