I've had it from that place in elwick, its nice, very creamy.

Like real milk real ale is also not pasteurised (nor filtered).
Observed under a microscope you can see the bacteria moving unlike keg beers and lagers which are inert.
Better and cheaper than buying Actimal or Yakult.
More methane though.

The farm on the right as you enter Elwick from High Tunstall doesnt sell it anymore but the one on the left 100 yards further on does. Big sign indicates.
