Here's my report from tonight's friendly between Newton Aycliffe and Hartlepool United where goals from Gime Toure (x2), Liam Noble, Luke James, Josh Hawkes, Nicke Kabamba and Luke Molyneux helped Hartlepool to a 0-7 win.

Thanks Connor.

It's great to see Aaron Cunningham getting plenty of game time in these matches - fingers crossed he stays fit all season.

Watched the last 2 friendlies and he looks good at CB, you just know that when Kerr is fit he will come back in though, shame as at least he has pace which the other 2 dont possess.
Kenton looked decent last night, bulked out and was bombing up and down wing.

Good to hear that about Richardson. Kerr and Raynes probably will be the first choice centre backs at the beginning of the season, but as I've said before, if Cunningham keeps fit he'll force his way into the side sooner or later.

Loving the strong competition for places all over the pitch - except left back...

Surprised Catterick not even on bench?

Richardsons being grafting all summer in a sports unit in durham, i've been a few times and it's great, jordan pickford and danny graham train there too. Not surprised his hard work is paying off.
