Denny Ingram at Shrewsbury when Bakes got the rebound, a few games after Turner took over.

John Mcphail saved one at Brighton I think when we had our keeper sent off (circa 1990)

Some black fella missed one for Northampton against us in about 1992. I think it was Jason White. It was one of the terrible games of all time.

Good question by the way MadJohn, is killing some minutes while I'm sat at work!

Two tremendous Pools moments. Baker's Shrewsbury goal is probably my favourite Poools goal ever.

Seems like six, yes.

The last league penalty we scored according to me was Boyd's injury time penalty in the 3-3 draw at the Vic with Scunny last season (29th August).

While checking that I noticed that last season our first home victory didn't come until 22nd October, against MkDonkeys no less. We'd been doing rather well away, which kept us in a decent league position.
Then we stopped winning away and went to pieces.

It was in the play-off final season. Andy Appleby had a good goal diasallowed, the ref gave a penner, Boyd missed, then Appleby scored one anyway.

Just before the penalty incident Nelson headed a goal with only a couple of minutes left.
