Who went along today ? Where you one of the estimated 200,00+ attendees?
Great day out for trades unionists and Labour Party members/supporters!
Some passionate words from invited speakers; Laura Pidcock, for me, was outstanding wise words from the rising youngster!

Makes you think of the sacrifices in the past so ordinary people have a reasonable life now.

agree with that. my grandad on my mams side and his two sons worked in the durham coal field and really hated it. however what else was available at the time living in a pit village. i,ll have to journey up one year whilst i,m still able to do it.

I've played in bands marching in front of various banners before. A great and proud day. Not keen in the political hijacking but it's tradition I suppose.

Not sure about political hijacking when the the Labour Party was born from the Trade Union movement?
