Big mistake from Sunderland. Looked league one standard here at times, will be kicking themselves if they cant get promoted this season.

Possibly but you’d ask why none of those fancied him on loan, he’s got the age of 21 without having spell at a Football League club.

If he does get injured we could blame him for it

Hope he gets a contract with a League One side and has the opportunity to prove a few people wrong at Sunderland.

There's always a lot of talk about how potentially important loan signings from the NE 'Big Three' can be for Pools but they rarely work out as well as Luke did. It'd be great if there were one or two more good uns found for next season.

The best thing would be getting a two year deal at pools and selling him to a division 1 side.

Yes, but as others have said, it's not going to happen - the player wants to say in the Football League.

Come to Pools and play in league one in after two seasons.
