Good business in my opinion although obviously open to risk.

I guess the contract will have an appearances element to it and if he gets himself fully match fit he will be a great asset.

Here's hoping. It could be a James Brown situation all over again but for that he'll have to start a few games for us first!

Hard to judge without knowing how fit he is or what the terms of his contract are.

We'll only know if it's the right choice come the end of the season.

The club must be convinced he's in good enough condition to be worth a contract. He's been with us over the last year so although you can never be certain about injuries they must have plenty of evidence that suggests any long term issues have cleared up. He'll be a massive asset if all goes well.

I hope you're right! He was not looking good at the recent Middlesbrough Radio 1 event. Knee brace.

It's a gamble alright. Given Williams has hardly played for almost two seasons , hopefully the gambles gonna pay off? I'd like to think he will make an immediate impact & show his skills and if his rehab has been done correctly he will.
Personally I'd risk it , get a good pre season behind him and we potentially have one of the best players in non league football.

Dont lots of people wear knee braces simply to avoid injury though?

Two weeks ago - a big brace - but maybe it was to help him boogie

unless there is a clause in his contract where is availability to play is stated its a big gamble due to the amount of time he,s been injured and his age. hope things do work out for him at pools though.
