"FIVE players who look set to play a major role in Hartlepool United's National League promotion drive"

So im thinking experienced pros or at the very least players who will start each game.....

He lists Cunningham, Young/Catterick, Richardson, Bale and Hawkes.

Hawkes will obviously start, Bale could but the other 3/4 will be on the bench or out on loan. Not quite sure how he thinks they will play a major role

To be fair he’s knocking out these high quality articles in the middle of his GCSE’s, plus his work experience will finish soon and he’ll have to decide if he’s going to Sixth Form College or try and get a proper job.

This standard of reporting is exactly what I was talking about and high lighting in my previous article aout it being a disgrace.

I think a ‘disgrace’ might be taking things a little too seriously unless you are deeply offended by lists. I blame the high lighting.

He uses the journalistic equivalent of zonal marking. I think he models his ‘reporting’ on I-spy books.

I'm a bit disappointed for Cunningham. I was hoping we'd get a proper look at him this season, but he'll be 5th choice at best behind Raynes, Kerr, Kioso and Anderson. And that's if Magnay doesn't sign.

Don't be silly, he is going to play a MAJOR role.

ps not knocking Cunningham as he looked decent but as you say he is probably 4th/5th in pecking order.

If Aaron Cunningham can manage to stay fit once he gets his chance in the first team, he'll take some shifting.
