That could be the worst 45 minutes I have watched this season, awful.

Not like a play off game either in terms of tempo or atmosphere where are Sunderland’s fans? The place looked fuller during most of the League games this season and they don’t sound like they are getting behind the team. I reckon both the times Jack Ross has worked in the North East could prove to be short stints!

Edit; Bizzare attendance at Sunderland tonight in isolation 26,000 at a League One play game is a big crowd buts it’s 6,000 down on the average attendance for the season?????

I've never minded Sunderland, hope they go up. The only reason to dislike them is Lee Cattermole.

Decent strike that won it and the sending off was harsh.

Great goal and ridiculous decision for the red card, and I wanted Sunderland to win it was just a bit bizarre that a lot less people turned up for such a big game, it was lower than Sunderlands lowest League gate of the season which is mad. Were they press ganging people before tonight or giving tickets away?

The game would not be a season ticket game, pay on the door if you like. Many will have opted for a day on the beer and watch in a city centre bar no doubt. Hope they go up, Sunderland fans I work with are all okay and have a soft spot for Pools.
