Looking at the number of clubs which failed to honour salary obligations during the past year, and the increasing levels of debt, surely this summer will finally see the likes of the FA, EFL, etc. start to take the financial integrity of clubs and their owners more seriously than has been the case in the past? No, didn't think so.

Good point. I agree that the FA, EFL, etc. start to take the financial integrity of clubs and their owners more seriously and ensure regulations are strengthened and enforced.
The only problem now is that if they poke around too much the whole pack of cards will collapse or am i talking about the UK banking system.

do,t worry folks if clubs like bolton cease to exist there are plenty of others with good history and thousands of fans ready to replace em. fylde, harrogate, eastleigh ,boreham wood, solihull come quickly to mind. you could really hate modern day football.
