Ten minutes to go and Pools are 4-1 up and pinging it around in a delightful exhibition of Higgyball. At which point global armageddon occurs - turns out that the knights were used as cover by the four horsemen of the apocalypse who have been hiding in the Ocean since getting back from Barrow. Match declared void and there is no lap of honour.

I thought that wasn't possible anymore. Massive security breach - I blame the Chinese government and my Huawei phone.

So you're the bastard with the Wahawehe. I'm calling the police to report you. On my iPhone - what kind of English person buys foreign when he can buy American?

Bring it on. All police radios, phones and earpieces use components manufactured in Shenzen by Hatman's cousin Deng. He's my mate so their equipment will just direct them to Monkeybutt's house.

Watch the body language of the players in the warm up.
Before the Barrow game they did not look a happy bunch just like in the days of Dicky Dosh.
So i now reserve my right to change my prediction until just before the game starts.
I would be happy to tell the team some Tommy Cooper jokes during the pre match team talk if that would help.

Who feckin' cares? Next season it looks like Chesterfield will be up there and possibly Notts County as well. Yet another season in this wilderness and a midfield that passes sideways and a Pools team from the kick off passes it back and then hoofs it up field so the opponents can get the ball.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. They started well but thought we were getting into it and on top before the red card tbh.

Donaldson looks better at right back and thought Kabamba, Noble and Molyneaux all had really good games. Nice to see a decent tackle go in from Anderson too which lifted the crowd. Holohan looks a tidy player too. Cracking performance from the Ref aswell I thought.

The hard work starts now Higgy!!

I thought he was the only decent ref we have seen all season, that tackle on Luke though should have been a straight red rakxe . Would have loved to have seen that shot fron Holohan go in, what a strike.
Its a shame we couldn,t have produced this type of performance throughout the season and we would be up at the top with a packed Vic everyweek.

The next few weeks will tell us where we are going with who is staying and who is leaving.

Great noise and support again looking forward to continuing with that and more next season.

UTP! rolf

Agreed. I was a bit worried when their top goal scorer netted after two minutes but it was a class finish ( as you would expect if he's getting £4K a week). Salford turned out to be their own worst enemies by being over physical - I just wish we would be a bit more niggly at times - without drawing so much attention from the ref.
Would have been nice to win a bit more comfortably, especially given the balance of possession in the second half. Star men for me - Featherstone , Molyneux, Kabamba & James, though nobody let the side down.
More of the same next season, please !

Complete difference to the horror show at Barrow. That was a really enjoyable game which we could and should have won by a greater margin, lots of tackles, good passing moves, width and goals. Was lovely to get one over on the money bags as well!.

One thing that frustrates me is the inconsistency in some players, one week I'm sick of the sight of players like featherstone then he goes and plays like that now and again,he's a great footballer but he just needs that fight when things aren't going well. Likes of noble, kabamba,James, molyneux, holohan, Anderson and kitching had great games as well...if only it was like that every week!!!

Top atmosphere today as well, really contributed to a great day!

Enjoyed the match and its shows we can compete against these sugar daddy clubs with low numbers of real supporters.
Just hope Higgy gets what he wants in the close season.
