TRUST Annual Golf Day - May 2019

The Trust have organised their second annual golf day, and this year it will be held on Friday 24th May 2019 at Wynyard Golf Club.

The format of the event will consist of:

Bacon Roll and Tea/Coffee on arrival
Round of golf (18 holes) on the presstigeous Wynyard Golf Club
2 Course dinner on return
Presentation for prize winners

Then...

Hartlepool United LEGEND Gordon "Flash" Watson will be on hand to deliver a Q&A about his playing days at Hartlepool United and elsewhere.

All of this for just £250 per team. Your team can be made up of three of your pals, and the Trust have ex-poolies on hand to make a 4 ball, or you can just go out with your mates as a 4 ball. We would like to thank the ex-poolies (and there are some heros in there) for their support to the cause at this opportunity.

on a serious note, yes there will be a veggie option should there be a requirement for one.

Quorn sausgage maybe, but the golf club have assured us they will be able to cater for a vegitarian if needed.

Cheers. What about those who are wheat and dairy intolerant aswell?

What you do is remove the offending bacon from your roll, pass it to me and I add it to my roll. That will bring a smile of satisfaction to both our faces.

Why not? Good fund raiser, some people like it despite the weird clothes and they get to play with or against some old Pools players.

Bit unlucky if you end up in a four baller with Monkeybutt as his version is radically different from most people's idea of golf.

Trust events are always organised well, the race nights I’ve been too have been great, money in the coffers, raffles going on. You know the moneys going to a good cause

If you’re lucky you might get a few board members down church street after too

Thank you for your enquiry. The price increase is simply down to cost. When we enquired last year we hit at the right time as a corporate had cancelled their day, making the day available. They had paid the non refundable deposit which Wynyard then helped us out in the whole save the club saga.

So the start of a new relationship.

The green fees alone on Wynyard are £60 this time of year (http://www.wynyardgolfclub.co.uk/golf/v ... green-fees), so for 62.50 you can be fed twice, win prizes and hear the great Gordon Watson give an insight to his playing career.
