There was debate on darlo site about Speenymoors attendances, avg 843 I think it was. The other night just over 500. Their chairman must have large pockets
Incidentally I signed Glen Taylor as back up om FM19, just lost our first league match of the season.

Given it’s a small place 843 seems decent if you go purely on population it’s like Darlo averaging around 5,500. It’s hard too see how they can increase much more to be honest.

It is decent, and they have done it over a very short period, think they were only getting a couple of hundred 10 years ago. Like all these clubs, they usually have a sugar daddy behind them, very few make it alone, once said sugar daddy throws the towel in. There must be at least half a dozen Spennymoors in our league. Its the Stockports and Hereford revivals we have to be mindful of.

Durham Mining Museum is in Spennymoor .....small but worth a visit.
Lots of tumbleweed in main street though.
