Becoming a bit of an enigma. Hartlepool so far looking like the best time of his career, and if he doesn't settle down somewhere soon, it may stay like that.

Carlisle have impressed me this season, I have a mate thats from Carlisle and supports Carlisle and he says they are playing some good football plus they can only improve with Nathan Thomas he can beat a player or 2 and create chances and assists something we are very much lacking at the minute.

Carlisle always seem to have 2 or 3 really decent players that enable them to compete at league 2 level, that means a promotion push is always a possibility, players like Etuhu, Kennedy, Grainger. They also pick up good signings via the loan system, like Wyke and currently Fryer and some bloke called SIMPSON , who scored last Saturday.

Very true Horden my friend, I always think they have 3-4 players that can play at a higher but somehow they stay at Carlisle most transfer windows bar the odd signing leaves but they always seem to replace the player that leaves with another decent player I think they’ll have a good shot at going up this season. Keith Curle did an amazing job there with what he had to work with and they always seem to attract half decent managers to, Yes I seen Simpson scored the other day for them i feel that he’s got a very good career infront off him and he seems level headed to, These are the players pools need to keep a hold off and not sell as soon a bids comes in for them even if the player does want to leave be stern with them and say you ain’t going anywhere and then they might want to prove themselves even more and play better for us for their “big move” Develop them play them and sell them for ourselves. Theres been a few good players leave from pools youth system or players that have only played a handful off games and then they have went on to have good careers? Wyke at Carlisle was a strange one for me we where in league 2 at the same time as Carlisle and he was banging in goals left right and centre holding up balls well with him been a big lad and other players playing off him and I think he went Bradford for 6O0 grand with appearances, Now he’s at Sunderland, Same with Baldwin to i remem wantching him at pools and can remember wowww we have a defender on our hands here he was stepping out of defence into midfield brilliantly taking 2-3 Players out the game then picking a perfect pass he was putting tackles in left right and centre and then pools sell him? BR STERN with him and say your not moving probe rourself here another then go? Same with Luke James banging in goals left right and centre at 18-19 I thought we have another good player here but since that Posh that his dickhead agent pushed through his career has Dramatically stalled and he can’t even score in the national league for us!

Simpson didn’t actually score last week he admitted after the game he didn’t get a touch, lack of strikers instinct and mentally that for me never admit that!
