I think we need to have in mind that in terms of sports science, the youth set up, recruitment we still need someone in albeit fixed term to ensure the things that need to be done get done. By not replacing we put ourselves at risk to again not be prepared next season and the vicious circle will continue.

I would 100% get Ronnie Moore in to help with this. The bloke is desperate to get back into football, knows the club inside out, he also has a very good eye on recruitment. He brought in both Thomas and Carson. I'm not saying put him on the training pitch or make him manager. But he's very experienced just like money, but a much more likeable character. I would see him fitting in very well with the hierarchy.

I'd look to bring Chris Turner back to the club in this role, he cares about the club, understands the Town and has done it before. He truly does know the club inside out and knows it's potential when things are right behind the scenes. I would let him concentrate on just football this time and not making him bother with all the other sports teams Pools have though.

I think a club like Pools could thrive under Marshall Law.

Plus we are going to have blue passports, what more of a sign of better things to come do you need? I can’t see those Southern teams fancying coming up here when they are starving through food shortages plus the journey taking longer due to queues from Dover and Army checkpoints. I can’t wait until we get our country back.

Yesterdays man. A lot of people care about he club, but that in itself is just not enough. I want someone who will come in and do a good professional job, I dont really care if they care about the club or not, more that they care about themselves and have a desire to succeed.

Potential? We are a league 2 club at best, no more no less

Chris Turner sctatchinghead

Why are you stratching your head? You kick off when anyone is even half as dismissive of your opinion and it’s usually a lot more far fetched than this suggestion!

He has a lot of experience in the role that is vacant at Pools, it’s not as if I am just plucking a name out of thin air. Saying stuff like ‘yesterday’s man’ is just words it’s not as if he’s been in the wilderness he’s pretty much been constantly in work since he left Pools the last time in roles upstairs in football clubs. I think getting people on board who actually care about the club matters after someone of the chancers who have darkened the door to get us to where we find ourselves. He knows how the Town and club works at its best.
