In the papers playing the victim. OK he was unarmed and attacked with a blade but he's a thug who clearly wasn't just an innocent bystander. Wonder if his new joker like appearance will make him think twice about football hooliganism, it'll certainly be an ice breaker at future job interviews.

I don't think anyone deserves to be slashed by a coward with a knife.

Normally I'd agree, but when someone has actively sought out violence they can't complain when it doesn't go to plan. Maybe all hooligans should take weapons to arranged fights, there'd be less of the idiots about then.

Trouble is, can you actually prove he is a ‘thug’ befor putting it in print?

It’s not for me and I struggle to get it but personally I don’t have a problem with like minded people having a meet up away from the crowds. The sort of almost decent thing about this type of hooliganism is that if you don’t want to be involved in it you can just go to the match and not be. It’s pretty incomprehensible to me why anyone would want a day out like that but a few still do, often those are people with families and respectable jobs, each to their own I suppose!

I don’t think anyone deserves slashing with a knife even if you do disagree with their hobby, a cowardly and sickening crime always likely to cause permanent and life changing injuries.

A brilliant exercise in saying sweet FA.

This time he lost. He'll be back.

Saw the footage and to be honest it was a bit sad. Two groups confronting each other which turned into a non contact dance floor competition. I bet they sew sequins on their pants.

Cant be easy fighting like, when everyone is dressed the same. At least back in the day you could generally make out who the enemy was by how they dressed
