No way has that thread been deleted?? Surely theres a back up versin of the board it can be brought over from?

Anyway I used Princess Pizzeria the other day. For some reason they put peppers and red onions on my pepperoni pizza. (Was nice apart from having to pick that shit off) and chips was bland and under cooked. Wont use them again.

Used Marinos before that but they stopped doing curly fries so stopped using them too.

Think will use OhSo Kitchen next time which cropped up on Just Eat recently.

Savvy Pizza is very decent. Stuffed Crust Pepperoni is lush. Chips are different from the usual fare too, can get them with 'American Spice' whatever the fuck that means?

Went for a meal at the Castle Eden Inn last night. Very nice place and food was lovely.

Starter of "Black Magic" which was a bacon and black pudding stack covered in peppercorn sauce. 10/10.

Main of Thai Green Chicken Curry with rice, chips and prawn crackers. 9/10.

Big portions so couldnt fit a desert in.

Will be back.

Had a half lot from the Almighty Cod (due lack of Real Bread

) at lunchtime today.
Fish in two bits but very chunky and nicely cooked only £2.90. Chips good too.

Had a Blitz Parmo yesterday from Glady’s, the missus had a normal one. Top notch as always, 10/10.

Friday I went to fat hippo in Newcastle, had the peanut butter and jam burger, was delicious, chips were shite though, 8/10.

Went to the fox and hounds in Benwell today, had an XL mixed grill, missus had a chicken burger thing, decent for pub food, 7/10.

When I was back home at Christmas I had a hot shot parmo from Bambino’s with chilli sauce. Very good 9/10 but that be down to fact I hadn’t had one in about two years.

Went to the Raby Arms for Sunday lunch had the lamb was brilliant 10/10 and I forgot how cheap food was at home.

Also went to Don Bees (as its proper name is) aka the cod father or whatever maybe almighty cod, pisses all over anything down south and half the price. I gave up buying any fish and chips here it’s crap and they leave the skin on the fish and don’t do scraps.

The Thai pan has now been took over and the old chef from the Thai harbour now runs it and his food id ellish ! Highly recommended his own dishcalled nort,easy,south west he uses 4 different spices and it's not watery like a normal Thai it's more of a mucky Mary's curry consistency

A guilty pleasure for Breakfast, two Beefburger Bakes, beefburger encased in flaky pastry, with a layer of sweet chilli sauce, very nice at £1.40 each. 8/10

Chicken Kung Bo avec Noodles. from the Royal Chef tonight. A respectable 7/10. My new favourite from there is the Singapore Chow Mein. Royal Chef is still the go to Chinese.

Kings Balti the new go to Curryhouse. Being getting dishes I've never tried before. Gosht Ka Salaan (Moghul Style Beef) was very edible 8.5/10. The Shashlic Chicken Special is 1 worthy 8.5/10 too.

Sorento the best Kebabs still. The Donner Wraps do seem to be getting thinner, though Dad still loves the Chicken n Chips. Cheap prices too.

KFC still fantastic, although not sure about the new chips. Preferred the old ones.

Spoons. Me n Dad still like Steak night n Chicken night, and Dads favourite Friday Fish n Chips Friday.

GRaNDE The new little Italian place. Dads enjoyed the Chicken n Chips, I've tried the Pasta dishes 9/10 and the Pizza 10/10. Highly recommended, definately the best Pizza in Town.

As for home cooking discovered the Cheese filled Burgers from Aldi 7/10 and the Frozen Donner Meat from Heron is decent (strangely the cheaper one is my favourite).

Bedales at Tindale still the best Chippy.

As an aside there is planning permission submitted for a new Lebanese restaurant at Tindale. I've never had Lebanese before, I presume it's Humus, Cous Cous, Kebabs and Tagines. I will report back when/if it opens.
