Unless the lad's godfather is Birge Larsen (who must know a few Danes) this one is a very long shot:

You can scratch off Gateshead they under a transfer embargo. Hopeful Dickie still knows a few people in high places at Newcastle from his time running the academy up there.

He would be a great addition but we need some big ugly bastards in the team.

Does anyone know anyone who has just got a mirror?

I was hoping for an ugly bastard but this is the worst pic of him I could find. An average looking bloke won't get us out of this mess.

It's a good try at a 'You lookin' at me?' face.

The likes of Magnay and Anderson would look ridiculous if they tried to pull that one off, so I call that progress.

I was hoping for an Italian with nasty facial scars and plenty of experience in Serie A. Somebody who tries to look hard but has a degree in Sports Science just won't do. I'm so outraged that I refuse to watch tomorrow unless the only other programme on is Britain's Fattest People.

Raynes loan deal confirmed till the end of the season on the OS. Good stuff. Might not be match fit though - one league appearance since the beginning of September.

Yowsers.

Those 'Team for Saturday' predictions are all going to need heavy revision.

Not even going to hazard a guess, other than saying it's unlikely Lewis Hawkins will make the squad.

Totally forgot about the existence of Donaldson!

I think the way Money has been talking he might play centre midfield now we have another wide option swap him for Paddy in both my teams!!

Cassidy's had one game since he came back to Pools, scored a goal and yet you and PJ have both binned him already.

It's tough at the bottom.

Just come in to this. Its welcome news, as we were down to the bare bones, cant be any worse than what we have got. Molyneux was coming good towards the end of his loan at Gateshead, and Kabamba sounds canny, obvious comparisons with Muir and you have to ask yourself why are Havant letting him go. Raynes should be a good signing , 6ft 4, could of done with being an inch taller  a bit of an edge, he has proved difficult to play against in the past when with Carlisle, someone who should finally give us a chance of scoring from set pieces. Any pre planning the Harrogate management team had done will be up in smoke now, these signing completely change our team.Lets hope they're all in tomorrow and hit the ground running.

From there site.

Havant and Waterlooville F.C. can announce this afternoon that striker Nicke Kabamba has left to join Hartlepool United on loan for the remainder of the season.

Kabamba, joined the Hawks in the summer, and has scored seven goals in 29 appearances for the club this season.

The former Pompey man will join up with Richard Money’s side in time for their away clash with Harrogate Town tomorrow afternoon.

Everyone associated with the Hawks would like to thank Nicke for the contribution that he has given the team and wish him well at Hartlepool and for the future.
------------------------------------

Sounds like he,s not going back!!

As I said on another post, it does make you think why a struggling club lower than us would get rid of a seemingly decent player. Similar to us with Cassidy I suppose and Muir if he went on loan to Borehamwood etc. It does look as though this could become permanent if he delivers for us. Has the potential but then so did Muir.

Muir clearly needs a target man to play off, which he's only had at Pools for the 3 games right at the beginning of the season when him and Cassidy were in the same line up. Unfortunately his confidence looks shot now, but it'll be interesting to see how he goes if he gets on as sub alongside someone like Kabamba.

Muir looked a good footballer at the start of the season to me, definitely a player in him. Confidence is something that comes and goes hopefully we can starting winning more games and winning them better under Money and we see more players performing near the best they can rather than what some of them are like now. Hopefully all the signings can everyone a lift including the other players.

Agree, hopefully Kabamba could be a lifeline for Nico, but I get the feeling its a like for like signing, with Muir now maybe not part of Moneys plans, unless he can turn it around quickly.

I think most people on here thinks Muir looked/looks a good footballer and if he gets a new target man to play alongside i hope he is give a run of games to prove if he is up to it and not binned after one match.

The only reasons that I can think of is they want him off their wage bill and have made it known to other clubs thus drawing interest from Pools.
OR
Pools have made an enquiry and were quoted a fee and said well we want to see if he fits in before we commit and as such are willing to take him on loan.
Other than that who knows.

Well, they're obvious so what a silly question!?

Seriously though, if you find out can you tell me because Muir has always looked like a fox in the box poacher type whereas the new lad sounds more of a target man with a bit of pace.

Yeah, because you knew that about Muir before you saw him play , and the new lad SOUNDS, like a target man with a bit of pace, more or less the same description given about Muir when we signed him. Nice try.

Jesus. Hopefully none of our players especially our black players read this. What if this new lad is? He probably thinks he’s landed in the 1970’s reading garbage like this.

Embarrassing.

It was a sarcastic reply to a sarcastic comment about my post. So what 2 players have the same colour skin, whats the problem? Its you are the embarrassment PJ, your spoil this forum with your constant patronising comments and continually attempting ( never successfully ) to get one over other posters. Pathetic little worm.

The only comparison is the colour of the two players skin you can’t compare them in any other way as the new lad hasn’t even played for us. Are their obvious comparisons between Scott Loach and Carl Magnay? It’s the definition of racism, maybe unintentional do be fair.

Yet again you resort to insults. Is this forum even moderated these days? Unruly Poolie gave you an opportunity to get out of it but you weren’t bright enough to take it merely confirming what he was implying.

Jesus, the 2 of you look for any opportunities to put each other down.

Horden's comment was misguided as it could be misread very easily but I think the attempt to portray him as a racist is equally misguided.
