I think he's a good player. I love how he winds the opposition up. I love how he is a true leader on the pitch. I love how he's not afraid to tell other Pools players the way it is.

But I think it's only a matter of time his attitude is going to cost us at some point this season...

I saw him recently telling Hawkes to get the ball when we had a corner rather than just stretching out and smoothing his haircut.
He is a leader who tells it how it is to some of the super stars we have.

We’ve been crying out for narky twat like him for years who plays on the edge. The last game I was at against Maidenhead he played the last twenty minutes like he was on class A drugs after a couple of on field arguments but the good far outweighs the bad, yeah he probably will get sent off at some point but he’s a winner and the type of character we need. Also he’s match winner and a good footballer.

Noble really really frustrated me today. There were a few times their players just ran past him as he jogged back, and the last 20 minutes or so he was just lumping Hollywood balls forward rather than trying to work possession and make an opportunity. Plus we never really look like scoring from any of his set pieces. He's clearly a good player, but he needs to keep it simple more often.

How did he get man of the match today he was probably the worst of the 5 starting midfield players like you say its all Hollywood balls and useless set piece delivery some of he free kicks today were embarrassingly bad. Featherstone should give him passing lessons next week in training.

It’s coz he is knackered in the last 20 mins, he always take the easier option ie Hollywood ball rather than carrying it out. It’s a small critisim of a very good player.

A very very good player and leader! Should stay the captain of good ship Hartlepool United for the rest of the season. For me he is the perfect fit for a midfielder / captain in this league. Our stand out player game on game for me like...

Probably because he has an attitude and he leads. The type of player we've lacked for years and folk tend to like that. As for the crack about Featherstone giving him passing lessons, he could return the compliment five fold.

Aye some so called negative bastard getting carried away with the usual pre-season hype and half decent start to the season, well away from home anyway.
