Lot of people on here threw up their hands in horror at the idea that Franks might sign when he started training with Pools last season, but he did alright and would have been kept on if Sage hadn't run out of money by Christmas.

His arrival last season, upturn in form after a horrendous start and goals were one of the reasons we didn't go down, I'd have him back no problem, I liked his attitude last time around.

I thought he was a better player last time and his level of fitness was much improved.
