Sky telly

For the last few days my Sky+ box has been turning itself off overnight,I rang Sky & they said yeah we turn it off at night,
"what about Saturday night when the boxings on & I want to watch it" says I
"We wont switch it off while youre watching it"says them
"How do you know" says me
"The Sky box can tell if your tellys turned on or off" says them

Too feckin clever by half this sky lark.

Mine started doing the same mate, I checked the setting sections and somehow the auto standby had been selected by the Sky box it's self. I switched it off last night and the tv was back to normal again.

I had a similar problem, every time I went for a plop the sky Box went off. Enquiries informed me that they have a rolling count on the bog seat and toilet roll. When weight is put onto the seat the box switches off, it then turns itself on again when the sensor recognises a decent number of sheets being pulled off the roll.

Experiments show me that three sheets are sufficient to regain access to my viewing pleasure. Must work on the old principle of; one up, one down and one to shine.

That's why er-indoors wont have sky in the bedroom,she says it could be watching us and said the sight of me in my under crackers will get it closed down. :shock:
