I think the first 10 highlights are the same goal to be fair.

Matt le Tissier, every goal seemed to be a screamer.

Hugh Robertson was just a poor man's Tony Bircumshaw.

This could go on a while so I'll end by saying x is just a poor man's Gus Di Lella.

Made over 1130 official appearances over 21 seasons scoring 113 goals including playing for the likes of Inter Milan / Real Madrid / Brazil etc. He is third in the list of official appearances only beaten by Peter Shilton 1390 (1 goal) in 31 seasons and Rogerio Ceni 1234 (129 goals) in 25 seasons. Carlos has a average of 53.80 per season / Shilton 44.83 and Ceni 49.36. If Carlos had played 25 seasons like Ceni he would now be ahead of him on average. If Carlos had played 31 seasons like Shilton he would now on average be on 1668 games which would make him far and away the most official appearances of anyone. Not bad for a poor player

I think he's only a 'poor player' if you take everything people say literally.

Carlos and Cafu are probably the best two attacking full backs to play together, although they were the poor man's Darren Knowles and Ian Clark. (we did play Clarky at left back didn't we? Can't think who else was left back at the time)

Rivelino in the 70s had a good shot in him. Looking back Ian Clark was a good value signing. Think Mark Robinson and Sam Shilton may of kept him out at times. Clark was more of a wing back under CT

Ian Clark was bobbins until turner got hold of him. I'm glad I'm not the only person comparing him to Roberto Carlos mind.

It was hard not to like Knowles and Clark, limited ability , but great attitudes and would run all day
