Fancied one on Friday, so I got a take out from Spicers (or whatever it's called).

Tasted disgusting and I was sick as a dog for two days. Just recovering now in the heat ...It the zillionth time I've been poisoned/disappointed by curry in Hartlepool/Seaton.

The best I've had in the past couple of years was Seaton Reach, and that was pretty poor. Anyone got a recommendation (apart from avoid curry in Hartlepool, which is the current option).

Had one from mamta last night and the best I have had in a long time, bhajis were best ever from anywhere and chicken saag and garlic naan was a joy.

Shalamar in Billingham best in area by far but does not deliver to Hartlepool (but will surprisingly to Greatham).
Had a one from Masdala Lounge in York Road (opposite the Essoldo, building was the old Jack Marshalls bike shop next to the Yorkshire Lassie) it was excellent.......very fragrant especially the next morning!

Finding a good curry house isn't a problem in Birmingham.

Which is the best one in the city centre Fat Man? I have to work there regularly and often fancy one instead of going to Chinatown.

It’s best to avoid those in town. Best curry houses are either in the burbs or the balti triangle. Hop on the 50 to Moslely and Kababish is excellent. Some great places here in Kings Heath too.

Careful you don't get recruited by Daesh while you're in Birmingham fat man, they might turn you into a sex slave.

Avoid curries in Kolkata. They are shit. There's some great stuff but not the curries.

Think I'd only ever be a niche choice, tbh. Not much demand for middle aged blokes who've let themselves go; I'll be ok.
