Although it has been a season to forget, I'd like to give Mark Simpson a pat on the back for the superb media work he has produced, not only this season but past seasons. Some cracking montage videos as well as the match day videos.

Keep up the good work Mark! clappp

Mark's had some serious stick over the years but has stuck to his task in a professional manner. I used to give him some grief personally by calling him Lord Haw Haw. It was true at the time but he was doing his job and doing a good job.

Do we know if he will be back doing away game commentry next season on Poolsworld? I cant remember the reasoning behind using radio commentry this year?

Not the same without Mark and an ex player alongside etc.

Here here. I put on Facebook the other day that I don't know how Mark (and Becky) are still at the Club..I'd have quit ages ago given the circumstances and it's not as though either of them couldn't walk into another job at any Football Club. Our Media Dept always attract praise and applause from other Media Depts from FAR bigger Clubs than Hartlepool United.

I think the reason Tree is that many Clubs at this level don't have the technology to allow PoolsWorlds gear to hook up to.

Always appreciated.

As far as I'm aware he's not done anything on Facebook to piss off PJ, which makes him about the only person on there.

Credit where it's due!

I think out of everyone who works for the club, including players, it must have been toughest for Mark Simpson. Being an employee and a fan whilst watching drivel and witnessing th shambles off the pitch and also not knowing if he will be paid at the end of it must have been tough.

Respect to him and Becky and despite nonsense written elsewhere I don’t think you can say they don’t provide great value for the club.

In some cases the away club might only have one ISDN line which is prioritized for radio etc, hence the Tees commentary being the only option. ar think
