Good, and cheers Raj for saving the club!

Hopefully next step is the removal of Pam.

Good statement as well from Raj in that he’s focusing on what is actually important in the first team for next season.

Don’t believe so, imagine Raj is a very intelligent bloke and won’t be long mind.

Good also to see the Media Department is being allowed to put out press releases again so everything is in plain English unlike the gibberish Pam was writing. I also heard she has packed her bags and is gone. Lets hope so and the club can be run professionally again after the complete shambles of the last few seasons !

At last, muchas grachas to Raj, Sir Jeff and Higgy - best wishes for the battles ahead. Let's all get behind the 3 Musketeers and help to ensure that this is indeed the dawn of a new era and not yet another damp squib.

It's a new era and, ever optimistic, we move on. Blackledge and Duxbury made some dreadful mistakes in their time at Pools - I'm sure from their point of view the biggest was taking over after Coxall and co. had done their worst. If they hadn't, Pools would have gone out of business last summer. If they'd cut and run in the New Year, as looked likely when they first made the announcement that the club was up for sale, Pools would have gone out of business.

Not at all sorry to see them gone, but like it or not they are part of the reason the 1908 Pools is still standing.

Genuinely pleased, relieved, happy that we live on so a massive thank you to Mr Singh and Jeff for sorting it.......but and I will probably get booed for this, Mr Singh has a rather chequered past which can not be ignored so I will wait and see.

I hope he genuinely feels he has a point to prove and a wrong to right, if so, then I would hope we'll be fine.

Happy to see Hignett back and should be an interesting close/pre-season.

Who for manager though?? Proven at this level or Bates? Is there any truth in Hignett not getting on with Bates? if so I'd say that's a deal breaker for Bates.

And how do you know when the trust has been 'earned' before you splash on a season ticket.....?

hope for a bit of off the field stability now and can talk about team selection instead of all the boring business stuff.

For people who had no earthly reason to give a shit about Pools, they did more than they needed to. Not a whole lot more, but above all, not any less. And as a bonus, to the best of my knowledge, they didn't rob us blind.
As caretaker owners they took reasonable care and buggered off gracefully. Considering they knew the cube root of sod all about football, they probably did as well as could be expected.

Here's a song for them.

Re-writing history.

We all know how Blackfoot and Sue ended up with Pools. AND we all know why they didn't do one. AND it wasn't altruism.

Will you be involved in the 're-structure' and if not how will you know what the 're-structure' was.....?

Of course it it wasn't altruism. Nobody doubts that. So come on, smart arse, you are obviously itching to give us your theory. Why didn't they bail out 4 months ago.

Am I the only one who hears Topol singing that last word above, from Fiddler on the Roof, whenever I see it?

That's rather rude, but I'll rise above it!

It's not my theory that they were protecting their "investment".

Here here, I was thinking the same about the Singh bit you mentioned and about him having a chequered past, Hopefully he does have a point to prove and gets us out the shit and invests in the club regarding players etc, At least we have a true poolie on board in Jeff
