2-1. Hawkins, Cassidy. 2901.

Was going to say 3-1 but couldn't think of a third player even vaguely likely to score.

Pools 7 (seven) Torquay 0

Too many scorers to list, 3,127. An unlucky 13 visitors from the English riviera, all students on various hospitality degrees around the north east except for the obese old bloke with strange sideburns.

Just checked with Coral and you would get at least 200-1 on this bet............worth a punt?

So the Pools players have a couple of games to show they are worth an extension, while Torquay need this win or they are irretrievably donald ducked.
That has draw written all over it.

5-5

We're safe, so gonna give this game a miss, I don't think I'll be the only one. A predictable end to Pools worst ever season.

There will be far more than that. The chairman has given the regular travellers half price coach travel. There are quite a few up for the weekend in Newcastle plus also this could be the last time our northern based exiles will get to see us play a league game. Still a minimal chance of survival and some always go to the last game.

Around 200 are expected there, still far more than we have ever had there. They certainly don't deserve the support they have in numbers home and away with us in the bottom four all season.

3-0 loss with Rodney Jack getting a hat trick.

We'll have played Orient and Torquay in the same week but not as it should be all thanks to incompetent (at best) owners.

I remember Chris Waddle playing well past his sell by for Torquay and missing a penalty against us and thinking that was a poor standard of football. Little did I know...

4-2 Hawkes and Cassidy braces.

Pools proved me wrong on Tuesday by keeping a clean sheet but against a team with something to play for, I cannot see a repeat.
Pools 2 - 2 Torquay (Hawkes, Cassidy)
2999 attendance with 155 visitors

Pools are safe and if Torquay lose they go down.

I say 1-1 but Barrow pick up a point and send Torquay down anyway.

May as well have my say on the match. I know other results ruined it but we still should have won the game. When the defected goal went in I thought here we go but had a chance to equalise and to be fair he usually scores. Second half ònce we brought Dowling on we were far more fluent coming forward. Two good saves from loach and hit the bar thought it was it. We managed one but not enough. Spent a few hours in the centenary bar and had a hangover this morning.

It's unlikely we will return as our chairman will just keep squeezing us as all he is interested is properties. All this new ground rubbish when we have a perfectly adequate one. A tough time as a fan as we have had four years of dross on the pitch all coming from previous regimes.

We deserve to go down as we can't win games when we should and defend appallingly at times. It's amazing we average the home gates we do with poor performances, plus the away support still turn up all over the country.

Was good to meet up with Dave king before haven't seen him for a while and enjoyed having several pints through the day. Good luck to my second favourite team but may not see you for a while.
