62 years serving the sunbed industry. I enjoyed supermarket sweep.

Someone has taken his death particularly badly.

Won’t someone think of the poor 6 month old sunbed he is leaving behind.

Sad news it was Dale who got me into trolley dashes, or as Cleveland Police described it shoplifting.

Good of my wife to take us back in time with her comments this morning when I said “Seen who’s died now, Dale Winton” “was it it AIDS” was her response!!

On a serious note it’s another lesson about depression because the article I was reading was pointing towards a certain cause of death mentioning his mothers suicide and how he’d taken himself out of the public eye as he suffered badly from the illness. You certainly wouldn’t have him down as a sufferer given his outward personality. Wasn’t he big mates with Graham Souness randomly?

Sometimes the more outward someone is, the more dark they are away from view.

Robin Williams proves this perfectly.

Because I didn't 'joke about' his death ?

Sorry to get serious Mr Wardrobe, but where's the "joke" in my original post? In his lifetime Dale regularily laughed/joked about his passion for sunbeds and fake tans etc in the public limelight? Could you also please shed light on when he was on a sunbed aged 6 months in my post?

I'm confused at your outrage to a simple RIP post, unless you were drunk/ and or being precious?

Way too young to pass on.......he became pals with Souness when Souey was his best man in the bbc fake wedding to Nell Mcandrew.

Did he really, you sure about that ? And as for 'serving the sunbed industry for 62 years', er, he died age 62. So he would have to been a baby when he started using them...though I doubt there were many sunbed shops around in the 1950's !!  sctatchinghead

Feck me, people are more passionate over Dale Winston's death than when Pools nealy went bust.

Sorry to anyone affected by this tradedy or Bishop's making light of a part of life that comes to us all.
