Not great for us, but looking at the table I think I would probably be most worried if I was a Maidstone fan at the minute

Woking will keep us up. Only 3 games left for them and 3 points (effectively 4) behind us.

Whoever goes down, please don’t let us be in the mix come the last day of the season.

Point on sat and then home win please.

Woking last won on 10th Feb (11 games ago), the week before we beat them 3-2. In free-fall and will be lucky to win one of the last three. I think we’ll be ok based on that and us winning at least one more game

Hmmmm there seems to be a pattern emerging here at the end of every season, Is it just me or are we always hoping for other teams to fail to save us??!!

Chester first team to be relegated despite winning tonight. I can see Moors and Barrow possibly finishing above us as Sutton losing tonight will see them taking it out on us on Saturday.
. As I said a few weeks ago Woking or Maidstone might pull us out of the mire here.

A few weeks ago Solihull and Barrow looked dead and buried, averaging less than a point per game. Now they're both on a run and my arse is starting to twitch.

Same as last season, Newport had no right to go on that run and finish above us.

They're just a pack of bastards, I want to relax with a couple of games to go.

If the club finds itself down with the Darlo come August it will fully deserve to be there. There can be no excuses following years of mismanagement and sheer incompetence both on and off the pitch. We are currently dependent on a group of spineless, talentless no-hopers who failed miserably to build on a hard-earned five match unbeaten run by effectively not turning up for the two recent home six-pointers.

It is fcuking pathetic and embarrassing to whitter on and speculate about which clubs may or may not finish below us. Like it or not the clubs immediate future is entirely in the hands of the likes of Laing, Featherstone, Hawkins, Loach etc etc. These people have shown that they are capable of securing results in the face of adversity and need to do so again in the few remaining fixtures. Please, no excuses, just grow a spine and secure the requisite results for Sir Jeff and the fans if no-one else - apart from what little remains of your own professional pride of course.

Of the 4 teams directly below us, 3 of them have to play Guiseley and 2 of them Chester.

Obviously it's in our own hands but given our away games are against teams in the play-off mix and how poor our home form is, it hardly fills you with confidence.

Hopefully the form of Woking and Maidstone will see us safe.

The remaining fixtures for those clubs in the squeaky bum zone are:

Pools play Sutton (A) Leyton (H) Torquay (H) & Tranmere (A)
Solihull play Guiseley (H) Fylde (A) Tranmere (A) & Eastleigh (H)
Maidstone play Fylde (H) Chester (A) & Halifax (H)
Woking play Bromley (H) Guiseley (A) & Dover (H)
Barrow play Ebbsfleet (H) Guiseley (A) Aldershott (A) Bromley (A) & Chester (H)

If we lost all 4 games then to be relegated all of the following would have to happen:

Solihull would need 2 points or 1 depending on goal difference from 4 games
Maidstone 3 from 3 games
Woking 4 from 3 games
Barrow 4 from 5 games

So at least 10 out of 19 results would have to go against us and Maidstone and Woking have only 1 pt each out of the last 18 available. So the odds are in our favour, but.............

A Staying up party at the Vic v Torquay.
Then it's renew your St's during the summer as this time we proper going for promotion.
I could never totally stop going to the Vic but from next season it will be on a part time basis.

I hope after the season we have been subjected to a complete overhaul is required on the field unless this happens i can see many people watching this rubbish having second thoughts and who can blame them.
I am a season ticket holder but even my sense of humour of watching garbage has its limits.

Looks bad for Woking and Maidstone at the moment, but still think it will be between us and Barrow on last day of season. 3 tricky games out of last 4, avoiding defeat to Torquay is a must, they are dire, but having just lost to Guiseley and Solihull even that game looks suspect. I expect Woking and Maidstone to pick up a few points from now on in.
