Unless you’re into flushing out Badgers I’d go for a proper sized dog like a Labrador instead.

If I had to recommend any at a push I’d say a brown one.

Depends how good you want the picture quality to be and how you want it to look in your car. The nextbase ones have excellent picture quality however they are quite obvious in the car. I use a Blackview as it's much more hidden, so if someone wants to be a complete dickhead infront of you, its harder for them to see. Good quality too. Bit pricey though...

More importantly are you?

To be honest 20% of the population are millionaires, even I live in a 3 floor 5 bedroom Villa with a pool, we don’t tend to get many stray dogs around here. It’s like living on a five star holiday resort. It seems a much better place for my kids to grow up in right now looking at the UK news on a daily basis especially compared to the South of England. Nowhere is perfect in the World but pikeys trying to rob your house, stabbings and shootings are unheard of here.

Yes because exploitation of migrant workers and human trafficking doesn’t exist in the UK. Not even an issue.

There’s been big improvements in pay, working and living conditions for the construction workers since a lot of the bad press and I don’t think anyone was committing any crimes in the first place. Don’t get me wrong it’s not something I’d want to do as if looks pretty horrific especially in summer but these workers are coming from the likes of India and Nepal because they are actually earning around ten times more than they ever would at home. The UK is great at throwing stones from its glass house so you crack on. Have panorama done a World Cup scare story documentary yet? Also after Russia is over Daily Star can start its daily campaign of scare stories ranging from people getting attacked by camels to everyone having to convert to Islam. You know that type of ignorant shit.

Well it’s not great whatever way you dress it up but the article is over a year old and some serious changes have been made to living conditions and a minimum wage has been introduced so something has been done about it. So the media outcry has achieved some good as Qatar wants to be seen as a progressive country.

But like I said nowhere in the World is perfect especially the UK which seems brilliant these days at getting on its high horse about all sorts of issues when it’s own House is a million miles away from being in order.

2.67m population and 2.1m are single migrant workers living in labour camps?

Sounds a hoot.

It doesn’t say that. It says that 2.1 million are ‘migrant workers’ which is in itself is totally misleading and wrong. It’s true that only about 400,000 of the population are Qatari nationals and the rest are expatriate like us but using term migrant workers is trying sway the article in the direction he wants it to go. If we’re ‘migrant workers’ and if where we live is a Labour camp I am happy to live on one.

Well I've decided that I only want a dashcam which is made by migrant slave labour in Qatar.

Any good ones people know about?

20% millionaires, then PJ and a few others taking advantage of tax free earnings, then the rest around 70% living on the bones of their arses. Sounds like the perfect Capitalist utopia.

A bit of this and that but no not yet, we have two young kids and someone has to get the eldest to school and look after the little one and I’m bringing them home for a while of the summer when the heat gets really bad. I have a few irons in the fire a little bit down the line though when we’re more settled and the youngest starts nursery. Hopefully the dashcam factory are taking on once the Indians have been cleared out of the death camps sorry labour camps.

I love the 'expat' not migrant argument PJ. The only difference I can see between the two is that white British people can't handle being called immigrants or migrant labour so they invented a name for themselves that makes them sound like retired generals who would return to blighty if they could.

You've said in previous posts that you moved for the money so you're an economic migrant, same as the Indians. Difference is your lass can charge a lot more for her skills than they can for theirs.

And I'm not taking the piss, I'm an immigrant in France and I can't see the point in pretending otherwise with a silly name because I moved for the same reason most of the North Africans here did.

I am not calling the Indian and Nepalese construction workers migrants that bloke in the Guardian was in his article. They/we are all expats or migrants call us what you like but I think he was using the terminology in a misleading way and it’s how Tree and Yupeb read it. Everyone is here for the money even the people working on building sites who’d earn about £60 a month at home. I think most of them get £800-£1000 a month here which is still pretty poor for the hours they do (its 6 12 hour shifts a week often in blazing heat) but to them it’s a fortune.

The article said there’s 2.1 million ‘migrant workers’ here that isn’t true. The majority of families are here on one sponsorship and it’s notoriously difficult for the second person to gain employment so loads of people are here in the same boat as me. The school yard has as many blokes picking up kids as women and I’m certainly not ashamed of sacrificing my own career for a bit to do what’s best and what will benefit my family in the long term.

Reading your posts in like a mentality challenged painfully ignorant and comically stupid World Tour.

Like Micheal Pailin with a severe head injury.

At least you were within a 1000 miles this time unlike your Fez posts.

And thats why it's good, that people can move around, though the goodwill doesn't seem to extend to people who want to start a new life in this country.

Ever experienced any anti English hostility yourself born Toulouse?
