Apartheid was fucking evil though wasn’t it? Surely we can all agree on that as civilised people.

Also loads of white people who did bad things as a means to an end of something are lauded as heroes and have statues up. But black people who did things to overthrow a horrible racist regime are seen as terroists. Playing devils adovacate slightly but it’s interesting all the same.

If you can’t see why a man of African descent would view her differently given the history of horrific injustice against black African people then you aren’t wired up right.

It was one quote wasn’t it? I don’t think she personally ‘necklaced’ anyone did she? It was brutal yes but it was an uprising against something evil. I am not condoning her I am just capable of realising how people from different backgrounds and history like Idris Elba would view her differently to others.

I’ll run future posts past you beforehand in future though to see if I’m entitled to a view.

Your admirable desire to be seen to be fair handed is just looking a bit silly. 99% of the people necklaced by the ANC were their black political opponents, not white Afrikaaners.
