Do you think a couple of priests sit about and decide when it’s most appropriate to have it this year?

It’s do with the March equinox and the when the full moon falls after it you doyle.

That’s right folks common sense should be applied to a 2000 year old story about someone who was supposedly the Son of God who was crucified coming back from the dead so Sussex can have some nicer weather for his bank holiday weekend.

Everyone wears a Fez here like, you can’t move for the fuckers, being traditional Arabic head gear and all.

Some might say Hartlepool is closer to Qatar than Morroco even on a completely different continent but that’s by the by.

It never turned up at its League 1 destination. Rumour has it it was sold to a club in the Sahara.

Realistically what are the chances, really?

It's forecast fairly heavy rain literally all day....surely it will be postponed?

Due to set off in 45mins and don't want a wasted journey :(

The drainage on the Vic is usually pretty good, it normally takes persistent extremely heavy rain for puddles to form and they dissapear pretty quickly when it stops. I suppose it depends how heavy it is but I only remember a home game against Luton that was called off just before kick off (the rearranged game was the classic Hugh the hammer 4-3) and one against Notts County a few years ago that kicked off that have fallen foul to water logging in recent memory and on both those occasions it took biblical rain just before kick off.

I love it on Facebook when people go on there and confidently post ‘the games off’ causing mass confusion, despite having no idea if it’s on or not.

When I say ‘love it’ I do actually mean, ‘f-king ridiculous’.

Been in Blackpool for the weekend just about to set off don't want to drive all the way back to find the game is off if Pools say there is no inspection planned which I am quite shocked by looking at the forecast and how many other games are off especially looking ot some of the comments on Facebook. Its absolutely tanking it down here so no shock that the likes of Barrow Halifax and Tranmere are off.

Pools will be adamant that they don’t want it postponed because they need the money. Ref might have other ideas when he sees it.

Let's be fair, it's only been raining. It's hardly been a monsoon.

Our garden normally drains really well and is waterlogged, especially around the goal mouths were it’s had most hammer off the studs. The green out the front is covered in massive puddles too. It may not have been a monsoon but there has been a lot of constant heavy rain which is forecast to continue all afternoon.

I've noted this incase we switch the game to your garden.

That’d make it easier for me, but if they’d done that a few weeks ago I’d have shut the curtains.
